Try allowing and giving more human touch to your loved ones and friends. It is a form of healing in and of itself.

A cluttered environment causes a cluttered mind and clutter creates stress and emotional upheaval over time. A cluttered environment also includes a cluttered cellphone. Do you find yourself feeling overwhelmed with your cellphone and all of its daily complexities? Do you find yourself glued to your phone just to check an overwhelming notification bar? When you have tons of notifications going off all the time, tons of apps that are taking up space, and constantly setting off alert noises on your phone, it creates an equally unsettling energy.
Declutter your phone by removing unnecessary apps, and turning off notifications for certain apps that are not so relevant or essential. Change the notification settings for individual apps, so that you are alerted only for what is most important to you. This will lead to a less cluttered mind, less tension in the body, and a happier mood. Remember to take time to clear clutter for a more productive lifestyle.

Oftentimes, we tend to get sad or upset when circumstances don’t work out the way we intended them to. Especially, when it comes to our goals and things that are very important to us. But there are always reasons, which we may not be able to fully see why things work out the way that they do, but it is always for our benefit in the end somehow.
This is life and it will happen from time to time, but it is up to you to find that peace and happiness within yourself. The reason why we tend to get upset is because we attach ourselves to the outcomes of situations and want to control those outcomes. In order to find peace and happiness within yourself, instead of focusing on a particular outcome, focus on the actual experience. Stay in the moment and experience the journey you are being led on. This doesn’t mean don’t make goals or strive for things in the future. But just do not attach yourself so deeply to that outcome. Leave yourself open for the possibility of other outcomes that may be better than you’ve even imagined. The truth is everything in your life is about the experience and how you grow through and respond to that experience, not the exact outcome. Create some affirmations today to remind you to be in the present moment and be in the experience. After all, that’s why they call it “The Human Experience” 🙃

Trusting the divine timing of your path and exercising patience for those life-changing moments is one key of life that makes it that much more worth living. Maybe you didn’t get the “dream job” this time, or maybe the love of your life is still making their way to you. Everything happens for a reason, so when something you want doesn’t happen, there’s a reason that was not for you at this time and it’s always in your benefit in the end. That means something better is being orchestrated behind the scenes and you must have faith in your path. You may not always be able to see it in the moment, but you will. If you focus on lacking, that’s what you will get more of. Instead, focus on trusting your path and expecting greatness for yourself and others, but all in divine timing. If you succeed in these areas, patience will come easier to you and will allow abundance to open itself up to you in ways you’ve never experienced. Patience is key to unlocking the energy patterns of the law of attraction.
This week, check in with yourself and ask, am I being patient? Do I trust myself and my path? Do I truly expect greatness in my life? If the answer to any of these questions is No, then begin creating affirmations for these and doing some inner work to shift that within your mindset. Always remember, patience, indeed, is a virtue!

With everything that we have going on in our lives, every now and then our chakras can become blocked, which can cause emotional, mental, spiritual and even physical ailments. Keeping your chakras balanced and uncocked is a good holistic way to maintain your happiness and ensure that you are living a life of wellness and strength. Unblocking your chakras can be done as much as you like and at any time you start to feel unbalanced or overwhelmed with life.
If you often feel symptoms of anxiety, stress, depression, hopelessness, low energy, physical health issues and are even unfocused you can start by first knowing what each chakra is and what areas of the body they serve. By understanding what each chakra is and where it is in the body, you can identify more clearly why that chakra may be blocked and heal yourself from what may be causing the issue. When you’ve identified the part of the body that needs the most attention, focus your meditations or quiet time catering to that part of the body using elements that strengthen the accompanying chakra. You can even pick a day of the week to focus on each of the seven chakras if you’d like to address your whole body. While we know that healthy habits are a way to keep the positive vibes flowing, it can be difficult to begin to establish consistency. Some ways to maintain consistency with new healthy habits are to set them at certain times throughout the day. Creating a routine and repeating that every day, will begin to create automatic habits that you don’t have to push yourself so hard to do. Depending on your lifestyle, it may be better to do these things in the morning to start your day off right and before you get caught up in too many things that can derail you. By practicing mindful eating, we allow ourselves to slow down, use our senses, and be more deliberate about the energy we place into our bodies.
One way to practice mindful eating, is to get in the habit of silencing or turning off your electronic devices upon eating, especially while eating at home. Then, take a moment to clear your head, appreciate the meal in front of you and set an intention of what kind of nourishment you want this food to give you mentally, emotionally and even spiritually. You can set this intention simply with your mind. Lastly, in between bites, place your fork down to slow your pace. Eating should be an experience, not a race. Once mastered, you’ll not only feel better about yourself, but will gain a new appreciation for the nourishment you give to yourself and your overall wellness. Ask yourself, “what are you doing to get there; what is stopping you; why haven’t you gotten there yet; what do you need to give up in order to achieve the best version of you?” Provide answers to those questions. With the appropriate amount of nightly rest, not only is your brain well-rested, but your productivity increases and you can be more present with the people around you.
If you feel yourself feeling groggy or fatigued on a regular basis, try incorporating a calming nightly routine into your evening. To promote the best energy while you sleep, keep your electronic devices at a distance during bedtime, allowing at least 30 minutes of electronic-free time before bed. Then, taking as little as 5 minutes of meditation time will help you unwind and allow the calm energy to flow through you. Finally, play relaxing music at a low volume or put a lavender sachet under pillow to help ease your mind and bring you into a relaxing state of being. Remember, consistency is key, so the more you do this, the better your sleep will be!

Did you know that just like your body, your soul needs to be fed and nurtured as a way to refuel and refresh itself at the deepest levels? Unfortunately, most of us don’t take the time to feed our souls as much as we should. Life can sometimes be so overwhelming that we forget to think about ourselves. When we are constantly running around giving our energy to others, whether it’s with our job, our spouse or significant other, or even our children, finding the time to seek solitude and redirect our energy back to ourselves can be challenging.
If you are finding yourself giving more of yourself to others than you are to yourself, it’s time to recalibrate! One way to do this can be to take a full view of your schedule. Wherever you find a gap, put yourself on the calendar. No matter if it’s 15 minutes or 2 hours, dedicate that time to yourself with whatever task or activity that time may permit. This can range from self care, taking yourself on a solo movie date or just a few minutes of alone time to do a self-check in. Whatever you choose, make sure it’s something you are doing just for you. There are enough hours in the day, if you prioritize them with YOU in mind! Sometimes when we go through various issues in our lives, we tend to detach ourselves from those that love us the most. Allowing people who are willing and available to offer you support in times of need can not only expedite the healing process, but can also prevent the negative experience you’re enduring from happening again.
If you are someone that habitually retreats to seclusion to deal with your issues, the next time you recognize yourself detaching and retreating, try connecting with someone you love or allowing someone in. If you are uncomfortable expressing your problems verbally, write down everything that’s bothering you and read it out loud to a trusted friend, family member or other loved one. Allow yourself to feel the feelings you’re experiencing, but don’t feel like you need to do it alone. You never know what others have to offer you that can make all the difference. Rejection can show up in your life in a multitude of ways; whether with a significant other, not getting the job that you wanted or even not winning a competition. Facing rejection can sometimes bring negative energy into your mental space and allowing yourself to sit in this negative state for too long can have major effects on your self-esteem, social interaction and overall mental fortitude. While facing rejection can prove to be difficult, changing your mindset on how to deal with rejection can make all the difference.
The next time you experience moments of rejection, first, allow yourself to have your feelings and then it’s time to accept the circumstances. A lot of times we allow negative emotions to fester because we refuse to accept the reality of what just happened. By accepting, I’m not saying to be a defeated state, but simply an acknowledgment that yes, you were just rejected and you can’t change what just happened. Any task or project that can be pushed to a later time when things aren’t so hectic, or even can be eliminated altogether, is a win for your state of health. What are you holding on to that you shouldn’t be? Whether it’s an ex-relationship, a job that didn’t work out or even a family issue that hasn’t been resolved, releasing the negative energy surrounding those things can lift a burden off of you that you may not even have noticed was there.
If you feel like you’re holding on to extra baggage within your life that is weighing you down, write those things down on a piece of paper. Then, destroy it by either burning the piece of paper, or flushing it away. As you write it on a piece of paper, there’s an energetic transfer that happens from you to the paper and by destroying the piece of paper, you are symbolically, and actually energetically, letting it go. (Sidebar- this is why we feel better when we write in a diary or journal our feelings.) Once the paper is destroyed, turn your back on it, walk away and don’t look back. This creates an energetic process that seals the deal subconsciously for it to be gone. Unleash your inner power and allow yourself to let go of all things weighing you down! Turn your back on your past and walk toward your future!

This Week’s Happiness Tip: Decompress the Stress
Stress is nobody’s friend and allowing it to fester in your life at any point in time can be harmful to your personal and professional development, as well as to the people closest to you. Extreme levels of stress can cause depression, anxiety and possibly your body to break down on you, causing numerous health issues. While it’s impossible to avoid moments of discomfort and discourse within your life, there are ways of managing stress to avoid the buildup of this toxic energy.
If you find yourself dealing with the onset of stress, anxiety, and depression, it’s helpful to know what your stress triggers are. Doing an internal check-in with yourself on a daily basis, being mindful of your stress level shifts and what is causing them can give you the ammunition you need to knock out those triggers. Whatever you find that is triggering your stress response, you can combat it with a calming strategy before and after. A calming strategy to help shift that stress response back into a neutral or happy state pretty quickly. For some, it’s music, yoga or meditation, while for others it may be reading a book or exercising; whatever method you can use to calm and ground yourself, will help when those stressful feelings begin to arise. Remember, you can’t always control when you get stressed, but you are always in complete control of how long you allow yourself to remain in that state. Take your power back!

Do you ever find yourself acting from emotion? The reality is, emotions almost always cloud our judgment. Making decisions from an emotional state can cause a disconnect with our spiritual and mental energy which can eventually result in traveling down incorrect paths. You have the power to direct your path by making judgments guided by your inner truth and knowledge.
If you feel yourself making major decisions from emotion, it’s time to practice making “rightly-guided” decisions. Take some time to do a few grounding techniques or meditation and get in tune with your higher self. If your decisions are not lead by your intuition through your higher self, there’s a chance your emotions may have gotten the better of you. Take a step back and allow yourself to be clear enough to make the best decisions that will move you forward.

Did you know that kindness feeds the soul? Whenever you do things for others out of kindness and genuine concern, it helps to increase your vibrations which evokes a warm and positive feeling from deep within. This is largely due to the fact that our soul’s true desire is to help others. Therefore, whenever we do something out of the goodness of our hearts, coincidentally, we also feel good inside.
This week, I challenge you to do something nice for someone else with no expectation of anything in return and watch the good vibes and energy flow directly through you. Whether it’s something as simple as paying for the next person in line’s coffee or even as involved as completing a difficult task for someone you love, pay it forward in kindness and watch how great you feel because of it!

Have you ever heard the saying, “don’t cry over spilled milk?” Essentially, what it means is that you can’t worry about the things you can’t control. The milk has already been spilled; you can’t salvage it, you can’t use it, so what are you going to do now? And in real-life situations at work or in your personal life, how will you handle circumstances that you can’t change or control? Are you going to fight against the unchangeable, or are you going to adjust or make the situation work in your favor somehow?
Things happen in life, sometimes beyond our control, and the best thing you can do for yourself in these situations is to go with the flow. Don’t dwell on circumstantial drawbacks, but use each experience in life to your advantage. How can you benefit from this situation? Whether it’s as a lesson for future reference or perhaps as a new opportunity for something, there’s always a way to benefit from any given situation. Use your creativity. If you catch yourself fighting for something that you can’t change, take a minute to readjust your mindset and figure out a way to move forward. While change is inevitable, growth is optional. Every problem is an opportunity for growth so open your eyes to the possibilities!

It’s time to check your mindset! If you are not where you desire to be and can’t understand why, you might need to readjust your mindset to one of abundance instead of a deficit mindset. We can easily get caught up in focusing on what we’re lacking and forget about all the good things in our lives. Focusing on what you don’t have creates a negative energy pattern that can actually repel abundance altogether. Instead, try focusing on what you DO have and be appreciative for how far you’ve come in your journey thus far. It’s okay to compliment yourself on a job well-done while you wait and expect more to come. Showing appreciation, speaking positive affirmations and taking the right actions to lead to your goals creates the energetic pattern that attracts more prosperity to your life. Everything in your life happens at the exact time that it’s supposed to. You have to trust the divine timing of your path and exercise patience for those life-changing moments. Maybe you didn’t get the “dream job” this time, or maybe the love of your life is still making their way to you. Everything happens for a reason, so remember when something you want doesn’t happen, there’s a reason that was not for you at this time and it’s always in your benefit in the end. That just means something better is being orchestrated behind the scenes and you must have faith in your path. I’ve found this to be the case 100% of the time when looking in hindsight. You may not always be able to see it at the moment, but you will. Demonstrating faith, confidence and self-trust is needed to manifest the things you want. If you focus on lacking, that’s exactly what you will get more of. So instead, focus on trusting your path and knowing and expecting greatness, but all in divine timing. If you succeed in these areas, patience will come easier to you and will allow abundance to open itself up to you in ways you’ve never experienced. Patience is key to unlocking the energy patterns of the law of attraction.
This week, check-in with yourself and ask, am I being patient? Do I trust myself and my path? Do I truly expect greatness in my life? The next time you’re going through a hard time and can’t seem to shake the negative energy, remember to “rise like a phoenix!” Doing a quick affirmation “I always rise like the Phoenix” will allow you to emerge from your negative situation stronger, smarter and more powerful than before. This can serve as a reminder that you are triumphant and can weather any storm in life. There is light at the end of all tunnels, you just have to learn how to find it!
This Week’s Happiness Tip: Cleansing Ritual
Have you ever felt like you were just in a negative space that was hard to overcome? Or maybe, your energy is off and you’re having a hard time rejuvenating it. Cleansing your body of negative energy and emotions can make all the difference. There are many healing properties in natural elements that can positively affect our body for spiritual and emotional rejuvenation.
When you’re feeling off, draw a warm bath surrounded by lit candles. Add to the bath rose petals, sea salt, lemon wedges, and healing stones of your choice. The element of water has natural abilities to calm and balance your emotional energy. Throw in cleansing herbs such as rose petals for positivity, sea salt for strengthening your body’s resistance against negative energy and even a few lemon wedges for all-around cleansing of your energy body. Adding in stones such as rose quartz, clear quartz, smoky quartz, citrine and black or green tourmaline for even more power to this cleansing. As you create this bath, be sure to have the mindful intention of healing, balancing and refreshing yourself. We add fire (candles) because fire magnifies the power of this intention. If you’re feeling scared, explore the root of that fear by going within. If you’re feeling hurt, don’t be afraid to cry and release your pain. It’s in our nature to react to our feelings, yet often times we’re taught to disregard them in the pursuit of being “strong”. Break yourself from the chains of these limiting belief systems. The strength lies in dealing with them and allowing them to be expressed in a healthy way, not in them being suppressed. 🙏
This Week’s Happiness Tip: The Power of “No”
Have you ever been asked to do something for someone else, and out of the kindness of your heart, you agreed, even though it caused you stress, inconvenience or discomfort? Or maybe it prevented you from getting something done for yourself? Do you do this often? Exercising your right to say “No” is not an act of selfishness, but actually evokes the power of knowing your internal capacity and assessment of your capabilities at any given time. Saying “No” to others is sometimes saying “Yes” to yourself.
The next time you’re asked to do something that doesn’t align with your priorities, beliefs or emotional standing at that moment, exercise the Power of No! While it can be a small word that packs a big punch, not implementing your power to use it can cause physical, emotional and even spiritual discourse. Just because it’s easy to say “Yes,” doesn’t mean that you should. There’s freedom in the Power of No!
This Week’s Happiness Tip: Listen to Your Intuition
We’ve all heard that little voice in our head or that deep feeling that we should be doing something or stop doing something. That little voice in your head is called your intuition and it comes from a much deeper place within yourself and is meant to be the guiding force of your higher self. Listening to it will always lead you to exactly where you should be.
I challenge you to check with yourself internally on a daily or weekly basis and ask yourself how aspects of your life are resonating with your mind, body and soul. Sit with it and really go within. Feel it. Anything that doesn’t feel right from this deeper place should be eliminated to make way for what best serves you. Make this a practice and you will see your life begin to transform!

Did you know that the space around you is a direct reflection of what’s going on inside of you? The relationship between your environment and your mental energy is a two-way street, where one can directly affect the other. Sometimes we can allow our physical space to become cluttered and disorganized, which directly affects our mental space. If you’re feeling scattered or ungrounded, put some time into decluttering your environment. You’ll notice that a change will occur in your mental space, which will allow you to become more focused, productive and balanced.
This Week’s Happiness Tip: The Freedom Challenge
Have you ever had the feeling that certain people, places, or things were weighing you down in life like an anchor? Those anchors can be causing you to become distracted from your goals or can even be hurting you in a way that might delay your personal or professional success. Free yourself from the anchors that are weighing you down with, what I call, The Freedom Challenge.
This challenge requires you to take some time to review the people, things and situations in your life and remove/stop/terminate those that no longer serve a positive purpose. The end goal is to free yourself from all things negative and insignificant, thus allowing you to align yourself in more of a position for success and total fulfillment. Do this challenge and let’s see that freedom dance as you conquer your life!
This Week’s Happiness Tip: Put Yourself First!
What do you do for yourself? When was the last time you answered that question? Sometimes we are quick to jump to fulfill the needs of everyone around us but don’t make the same efforts in our own lives.
This week, I encourage you to take action in putting yourself first. Do something nice for yourself this week or do something you’ve been putting off. If you can’t do that this week, then start taking steps to begin doing these things. Whether it be saving money to take a vacation you’ve put off forever, or actually committing to scheduling a class you’ve been meaning to take. Stop putting yourself on hold. The time is NOW!
